Privacy — Ocbet
Changes
This privacy notice is a living document. We review it at least once a year, and we also update it whenever the way we handle data changes — for example when we add a new analytics tool, retire an old one, or move hosting to a different provider. Every version carries the date of its last revision, which you will find at the top of this page.
If an update materially affects the way visitor data is processed — for instance a new category of data, a new recipient, or an expanded retention period — we flag it visibly on the page so that a returning reader cannot miss it. Minor editorial changes, such as fixing a typo or rephrasing a paragraph for clarity, are made silently and do not trigger a notice.
We do not retroactively broaden how previously collected data is used. If a new version of this notice introduces a processing purpose that did not exist when your visit was originally logged, that purpose only applies to future visits, not to historical records. Archived versions of this notice are kept for reference, and we are happy to send the version that was in force on a specific date on request.
How we use
Information collected from visitors to ocbet.casino is used for a small number of defined purposes, and we do not combine the data across those purposes any further than is needed to make the site work.
- To serve the pages you ask for. Technical data such as the requested URL, the response code and the time of the request are needed to deliver content and to detect error patterns on the server side.
- To understand how the site is used in aggregate. Analytics data tells us which articles are read, which pages cause confusion, and where readers drop off, so that we can improve the editorial output. This data is aggregated by default and is not used to profile individual visitors.
- To protect the site from abuse. Automated requests, scraping attempts and attempts to inject malicious traffic are identified from server logs and blocked at the infrastructure level.
- To respond to messages. If you contact editorial@ocbet.casino, your email address and message are used to answer you and nothing else.
We do not run advertising retargeting from this site. The affiliate links on review pages carry a referral identifier to the operator, but we do not build audience segments, we do not place ads back into other networks, and we do not sell visitor data to third parties under any conditions.
Third parties
Running a website in 2026 inevitably means involving a small number of service providers, and we keep that number as small as we can.
- Hosting and content delivery. The site is served through a content-delivery network that caches pages at regional edge locations. The CDN sees the same technical request data that any web server would see — IP address, requested URL, user agent, response code — and uses it to route traffic and filter abusive requests.
- Analytics. A privacy-focused analytics tool is used to count visits, measure time on page and understand reading flow. Visitor IP addresses are either not collected or are anonymised at source, and no cross-site profile is built.
- Email. When you write to the editorial address, your message is handled by a standard business email provider; the message body, headers and your address are stored within that provider's infrastructure under its own privacy terms.
- Outbound affiliate links. When you click on a link to the operator, you leave this site and arrive on the operator's own domain. From that point onward the operator's privacy notice applies, not ours — we have no visibility into what happens on the operator side, and we cannot access the account you may create there.
We do not share visitor data with data brokers, we do not run pixel trackers from advertising networks on our own pages, and we do not embed social media widgets that would transfer your visit to a third platform without your action.
What we collect
Visitors to ocbet.casino can read the site without providing any personal information. We do not require account creation, we do not display a mandatory newsletter signup, and we do not gate articles behind a form.
In the ordinary course of a visit, the following categories of data are nonetheless recorded:
- Technical request data. Every page delivered by any website produces a server log entry that contains the IP address of the visitor, the time of the request, the URL that was requested, the HTTP response code, and the user agent string reported by the browser. This information is stored for a short retention window — typically thirty days — and then discarded.
- Analytics data. Aggregate information about which pages are read and how long readers stay on them is collected through a privacy-focused analytics tool. Where possible this data is anonymised at source; where an IP address is involved it is truncated before storage.
- Cookie data. A small set of cookies is placed on your device for the purposes described in the cookie policy — essential cookies that keep the site working, preference cookies that remember settings, and analytics cookies that help us count visits.
- Correspondence. If you write to us, your email address and the content of your message are stored in the mailbox used by the editorial team for as long as the conversation remains useful, typically twelve months.
You retain rights over the data we hold about you — most importantly the right to request access, correction and deletion. A request sent to editorial@ocbet.casino with a clear description of what you want is normally handled within thirty days, and we will only ask for the minimum identification needed to make sure we are talking to the right person.
